a morning walk

My dad couldn't wait for me to come home for spring break so we could walk the lupine and mustard covering the vineyard.  I got up early and we headed out in his truck with the dogs and went to see the beautiful blooms that haven't come for 5 years.  School, having a semi-new job and life keep me from spending the time I really want at home.  Shit gets in the way and I sometimes forget to come home and be centered. I realize growing up you are supposed to spend time away from home but so much of me is my parents ranch.  Listening to my dad chat about the grapes and the flowers blooming  makes my heart all fuzzy with warmth. I am so lucky to have parents that respect and love the land and have so much knowledge to share.  I'm going to bask in this week before having to get back to the grind.  Hope you enjoy these photos, springtime in Adelaida is wonderful.

See you soon,
Robin

About Me

I am a 23 year old student from the central coast of beautiful California. I grew up on a farm and have always been around animals. I was raised to love travel and adventure . Family trips have exposed me to most of the western U.S, camping in the great outdoors and hiking in the most beautiful locations. I picked up photography around 14 and have been experimenting with cameras ever since. I have come to love travel photography and I hope to explore the world one day and get paid to take pictures of exotic places and interesting people. You will see a lot of my friends and family, animals and new and exciting places I get to visit. I am an Art and Design Major at Cal Poly focusing on Photography. I hope this brings some new and exciting subjects and challenges and you will see them all! I hope you enjoy!
